Origin

The ‘Floral Chair’, a combination of graceful metal curves and upholstery, began to proliferate across Taipei‘s burgeoning department stores three decades ago, decorating every public space. It was this hand-crafted chair that sparked a deep passion and sense of accomplishment in Stone, the founder of Elegant Products, during his formative years. Much like John Lennon’s discovery of music, it became the cornerstone of his life.

Inception

Returning to his hometown, the founder was driven by a fervent passion for furniture to boldly establish the company and start his furniture dream. However, the harsh realities soon pressed upon the company, leading it to face the pressure of survival. To maintain operations, it began accepting various metal processing orders, ranging from bicycle hardware and tools to flower stands, and even candle holders. Yet, during this challenging period, the foundation for the company‘s growth was solidly laid.

Revolution

Throughout the journey of survival, he acquired diverse technical skills and insights from various industries. Researching deep into these, he applied them to furniture production,

ultimately revolutionizing the entire manufacturing process of furniture. This led to a groundbreaking transformation in the realm of metal furniture, elevating it to unprecedented heights.

Growth

“It’s simple, just correct like this,”

as Stone casually remarked. He effortlessly solved a structural issue with a lighting fixture set to be showcased at an international exhibition. Since then, Elegant Products became a designated long-term partner for international traders, propelling his designs onto the global stage.

Ubiquity

After making its mark from Japan to Europe and all the way to the United States, Elegant Products became a prominent presence among both emerging and well- known furniture brands internationally. It even became the preferred manufacturer for brand product designers. As the company expanded its footprint, it matured and solidified its position in the industry.
